HOW DO WE LEARN? :  the fun way!  our program  focuses on the development of listening and speaking skills, communication skills, and development of cultural awareness. In class, physical activity, concrete experiences, visuals, drills, repetition, presentation, and manipulative play have an important role. Typical lesson includes songs, games, play-acting, and use of technology.  The target language is the main language used in the classroom for commands, greetings, goodbyes, and requests.  "Leader in Me" values are integrated in the curriculum with leadership opportunities offered to students.

WHY? : learning a second language is an excellent way to improve children's skills in ... English. The exposure to the target language at an early age give students an advantage when they reach middle school levels. Children assimilate the sounds and structure of the target language like sponges! Around 8 years old, children are the most curious and open to the world so it is a good moment for them to start discovering other cultures.
